Apollo 11 - Gold Kapton Foil Flown to the Moon - Once Owned by Buzz Aldrin w/COA

Beautiful 8 1/2 x 11" certificate on which is attached an authentic piece of the gold Kapton foil that covered the Apollo 11 spacecraft and was owned by Apollo 11 astronaut Buzz Aldrin. This piece of foil flew around the moon and back as part of the Apollo 11 mission.
On this certificate is a color photo of the Apollo 11 command module on the recovery ship after splashdown. There is also an authentication statement signed and numbered personally in ink by Alan Lipkin, Space and Aviation Authority.
There is also a statement that says that the Kapton:
"...was removed from the spacecraft's external heat shield splashdown and was part of Buzz Aldrin's personal collection of Apollo 11 memorabilia."
This is one of an edition limited to only 44 pieces. I currently have two

This piece comes with a copy of an original letter from David Van Zile attesting to the fact that Buzz Aldrin was married to his mother, Beverly Van Zile, in 1975. He also attests that while David was living at home with his mother and Aldrin, Buzz gave him "numerous pieces of Kapton foil from his Apollo 11 mission to the moon."
