    Description

    Gorgeous 3 5/8" x 5" color certificate on which is attached a genuine piece of the gold Kapton thermal protection foil that covered the Apollo spacecraft and flew in space as part of the Apollo-Soyuz mission. This foil was on the outside of the Apollo command module and orbited the earth as part of the mission.
    The piece of foil measures about 3/16" x 1/4".
    The certificate has color photos of the ASTP mission as well as mission information on the back.This piece is in excellent condition.
