- designed to allow the motor mount to side/swivel as needed when the blade is raised or lowered. One main reason motor mounts crack is the miss-understanding of how this area should function.  People think that they need to use a screw that will tighten the motor mount down and not allow it to move. This will result in the motor mount bracket cracking. Note: as the blade is raised or lower this motor bracket needs to be able to side. This specially designed screw when tightened down still allows the motor mount bracket to move as needed.
