  • Condition: There's some paint splatters and a small amount of rust on the casing. The motor was tested under load, works great with little vibration or bearing noise. The cord is in good condition, with no plug, it was wired to a switchbox on the saw.

    Description

    For sale is a 1-1/2 HP Mao Shan motor from a Jet JTS-10MD belt drive table saw.  It runs smoothly, with little to no vibration or bearing noise.  5/8" diameter shaft.  It runs in a counterclockwise direction looking at the pulley, like many Delta table saw motors, so will not work for most Craftsman saws, which require a clockwise rotation.  I can't say if it's reversible, nothing is written on it to indicate that.
    The original line voltage tag is still attached to the cord, indicating to me that it wasn't used all that much, or at least not moved from place to place all that much.
