Not all motor mount brackets have a spring as this one does.  The spring aids in keeping the belt tight (a must in my opinion).  You can replace a non spring bracket with this type to improve belt performance
Posts measure 5/8" diameter and about 4.5" long and are 2-1/8" center to center.
Will not work on 1940-1960's Craftsman table saws
